2017 US OPEN Round 2 - Tomas Berdych was sent home early from the US Open by Alexandr Dolgopolov on Thursday, who bounced back from a set down in their second round clash. Fifteenth seed Berdych appeared to be making light work of his Ukrainian opponent after taking the opening set 6-3, but Dolgopolov swiftly levelled the playing field racing through the second set to win 6-1. Dolgopolov was relentless in the final set taking a commanding lead over Berdych, ending the match with a 3-6 6-1 7-6 (8-6) 6-2 victory to see him into the third round for the first time since 2012.
