"On our arrival in Belgrade, I was quite pleasantly surprised. The feeling is great. Everything happens according to the ideal scenario. A beautiful modern hall for nearly 20,000 spectators, our favorite hard surface and the hotel close to the courts."
"This is a great combination similar to Ostrava when we play at home, the CEZ Arena is adjacent to the player hotel Atom. In Belgrade too it's only a three minute walk from the In hotel where we stay to the Arena. No need to take the car."
"The court is very nice. I would say that it is quite similar to tournaments we played in America, so we don't need to change anything special to get used to it. Maybe it's a little bit slower, but again the conditions are great. We play indoor, in a beautiful hall, no wind, no sun, it's very comfortable for the players."
About the US Open final between Nadal and Djokovic which is postponed until Monday because of rain: "Novak will not have much time to rest or to adjust to European time. For the Czech team, I must say that for us it's definitely better."
