But it seems a few got too excited as they forced the match between Tomas Berdych and Borna Coric to be momentarily stopped due to screaming.

Federer had sealed his place in the quarter-finals of the tournament with a three-set win over Fernando Verdasco.

Before going to his media duties, Federer signed some autographs for his waiting fans.

However, the noise made as Federer delighted his supporters became too much according to tennis writer Jose Morgado.

He wrote on Twitter: “Berdych-Coric match stopped because the fans are screaming so much for Federer as he is giving autographs. Crazy scenes.”
