Yesssss... Tomas is back on court!
After his brilliant run at Roland Garros this year, Tomas withdrew from the Wimbledon warm-up tournament in Halle, Germany and opted to rest a few days before the grass season.
Rest is physically necessary so that the muscles can repair, rebuild and strengthen. Of course, I know it. The fact remains that everyday I wait for his return seems to me like an eternity! *sigh*
Here we go, this week Tomas is starting to prepare for Wimbledon and is scheduled to play at least two exhibition matches at the BNP Paribas Tennis Classic held in the luxurious setting of London's Hurlingham Club from 15-19 June.
- Thursday, June 17, 2010 2.30 pm against Lleyton Hewitt
- Friday, June 18, 2010 against Stanislas Wawrinka
Tomas will play at the exclusive Fulham venue, along with Robin Soderling, David Ferrer, Andy Roddick, Mikhail Youzhny, Stanislas Wawrinka and Leyton Hewitt.
