Top seed Tomas Berdych takes on #3 Tommy Robredo. The two first played each other at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, where Berdych defeated Robredo one round after beating then world #1 Roger Federer. Since then, the two have played 8 more times, with Berdych leading their head-to-head 5-3. Berdych is looking to claim his first title of the year and solidify his chances of qualifying for the World Tour Finals while Robredo looks to get back to the Shenzhen Open finals where he lost last year to Andy Murray.

The semi-finals of the Shenzhen Open have been washed out due to persistent rain on Saturday.
Top seed Tomas Berdych eyes a 28th tour-level final when he faces Tommy Robredo on Centre Court at 1:00pm local time on Sunday. It will be their 11th FedEx ATP Head2Head meeting, with Berdych leading 6-4. Runner-up earlier this year in Bastad, third seed Robredo is seeking a 24th ATP World Tour final.
Berdych is hoping to further bolster his bid to reach sixth consecutive Barclays ATP World Tour Finals. He is currently No. 5 in the Emirates ATP Race To London with 3,850 points entering the week.
In the other semi-final, which will be played simultaneously on Court 1, second seed Marin Cilic battles fourth seed Guillermo Garcia-Lopez. It will be their fourth encounter and second of the year, with Garcia-Lopez improving to 2-1 with a straight-sets victory in Rome. The Spaniard is bidding to reach a ninth ATP World Tour final, while Cilic is eyeing his 23rd.
The final is scheduled for a 5:30pm start, preceding the doubles title match.
