It hasn't all been about tennis for the players at this week’s two ATP World Tour tournaments.
Tomas Berdych took a lesson from local chef Nuno Queiroz Ribeiro, cooking a seared tuna dish. “It was very interesting,” said the World No. 6. “It looked very difficult at the beginning, but at the end – after listening to all of the chef’s tips – it was quite easy to do.”
When asked whether it would mean he will cook more, Berdych firmly said, “No.”
“First of all, I don’t have enough time to do all that and my girlfriend [Ester Satorova] cooks really well. If I get more time I will try and help her – if she lets me. It is a great hobby though.”
