Czechs reach Davis Cup final for first time since 1980
Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek clinch Czech Republic's place in this year's Davis Cup Final after a 61 63 64 victory in the doubles rubber against Marin Cilic and Lovro Zovko.
After both had won singles matches on Friday, Berdych and Stepanek roared out of the starting blocks and took control of the match.
Stepanek smashed away a lob from Zovko on match point to send the Czech fans, that had made the trip to Porec, delirious as they look forward to only their team's third Davis Cup final and their first since 1980.
With Spain looking likely to win the other semifinal, the final will be in Spain, and most likely on clay at the beginning of December.
