Interlaken Match report

No tv, no live stream on Court 4, only the scoreboard to follow the match. It started very well for Tomas who was leading 3-0 after only 8 minutes of play... Then Philipp Petzschner made a great come back, both were tied at 5-5 and it went to a tie break. omg Petzschner is already up 4-0 in the tie-break and he even got several set points. But Tomas kept his nerves and won the tie-break by...10-8! phew *not good for my lil heart*... and finally the first set 7/6[8] after a 55 minute fight against the German.

At 2-2 in the 2nd set Tomas had 2 bp unfortunately without any success to convert them. Same scenario at 3-3 but this time Tomas could convert the bp and is now leading 4*-3. Petzschner, a great fighter, immediately broke back Tomas' serve and the thriller is on... 4-4... 5-5... and it's time again for another tie-break, Tomas leading 4-1, 5-2, 6-3... 3 mp Tomas, 2 mp Tomas, one mp left... arrrgh 6-6 and a new mp Tomas... noooooo, unreal 7-7and now it's 8-7 sp Petzschner. He did it. 7/6(7) second set Petzschner!

Tomas served first in the third set.  At 15*-15 match is suspended by rain. It will start again soon, I can watch Davykenko on Grandstand warming up after the interruption. It starts again, la routine... 1-1, 2-2, 3-3 - note that Tomas had bp for 4*-2-. He easily holds his serve 4-3* and Petzschner as well... 4-4. It reminds me of the match against Isner in Washington. Tomas is clearly the better player but alas he is not able to 'kill' the match. 15-0, 30-0, 40-0 Tomas is up 5-4*. Tomas, it's time to break and win the match! Can you hear me? 0-15,  0-30, 15-30, 30-30, 30-40 MP Tomas, please take it! Arrrrrgh nooooo, deuce, Adv Petzschner, deuce again, MP Berdych! yes you can, yes you can, yes you can...  yeahhhhhhh finally 6-4! I'm dead...
